SHNA MEETING MINUTES – 7/11/11

Board Members Present:  Richard Braziel, Gordon Reiselt, Elizabeth Doak, Katy Braziel, Craig Wallace, Matt Sexton ,Maria Lozano, and Tom Ocken. See Attachment
Meeting called to order:  7:10 pm
Board Minutes: The Board Minutes from 6/13/11 were approved.
Treasurer’s report:  The Treasurer’s Report was approved.  See Attachment
Web Site Project Status:   We need details of every photo shot we think would be good to take by Friday night 7/15/2011.  Photos could also be submitted by us to Maria & Matt.
Night Out 2011:  The National Night Out on Tues Aug 2, 2011, leave your porch light on, get together as neighbors.  Katy will sign up and we will put it on the web site.  See Attached Cover Letter, Flyer Front, Flyer Back
Parq Central Hotel:  They have applied for City landmark designation with a hearing on July 13, 2011. See Attached  Gordon will send an email in support.
Clean up:  Katy met with Ernest Metzger and they will clean the alleys and Gold Street between Sycamore and Yale in the first week of August.  They will clean up big items, small trash, graffiti, etc.
Keep Albuquerque Beautiful:  Matt has received $700.  We need to determine where we want them to be located.
Lead & Coal: The intersection at University and Lead will be closed in August.  The intersection at Lead and Yale will be closed in October.
Permit Parking on Silver Between Ash and Sycamore:  Gordon spoke to Bill Westmoreland about Permit Parking. Westmoreland said that there must be 51% of the 18 houses requesting to the changed to permit change.
Front Yard Parking:  People have been sighting people and it does not appear people are parking in their front yard and more.  Attachment Page 1, Page 2
Zoning:  401 Maple – No work has been going on since they were red tagged.
